Oh oh! Orangetheory Fitness day.

A week ago I was invited to try a workout at Orangetheory Fitness by my friend, Clint. Of course at the time I was feeling really good and I said yes, now I’m eating my words.

Orangetheory is a science-backed, technology-tracked, coach-inspired group workout. Their goal is to push you to perform at your optimal best.

I still wasn’t feeling so good so I was a bit hesitant when I got there. They walked me though and gave me a tour of their facilities. Before the class they got me to wear an arm band that monitored my vitals and performance and posted it up on the screen with the rest of the class. My heart rate was a bit faster than usual, I wasn’t sure whether it was because I was sick or nervous. None the less, I seem to have felt better through the warm up and I started to get into the class. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the process, the coaching and the groups energy.

I think I may have to go back for another class once I get over this cold.
