I never thought I would enjoy cycling indoors. The thought of just riding around a circle just didn’t really appeal to me. The day I was invited to give it a try at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre by my friend Blaine, I gave him such a hard time about it. First of all I didn’t own an indoor track bike and I wasn’t just going to go out an purchase one. That excuse failed when he mentioned that they also rented bikes there too. I tried giving him a few more excuses and he had an answer for everything, so I gave up and said yes to the Track Certification Program. The day I stepped foot into the Cycling Centre I was blown away, first of all the track was bigger then I though and the incline into the turns are so steep it was intimidating. I had such a great time during the lessons and the instructors were so awesome to work with. I was hooked as soon as we got through the certification program.
